DENTON — Eden Town Brewing Company hopes to finish construction in August and open in the fall.
A dream from husband and wife combo Matt and Sarah Dahl brought Edens Town Brewing Company to Denton. According to the business website, Matt and Sarah dreamed of building a family business in Denton for many years.
“My wife was born and raised here in Denton. We lived in North Carolina for a while, which is where I’m from, and down there, there’s lots of breweries,†Matt Dahl said. “We saw how much people loved breweries as a place to just come and get a beer or just hang out with friends and family.
“So, we moved back up here, we knew that Denton didn’t have a brewery. The more research we did, we realized really that there’s not that many breweries in the entire region. We saw what breweries did for the towns that did have them. It’s becomes an attraction. So that’s really what we’re hoping this brewery is going to bring people into Denton.â€
The brewery plans to serve multiple different types of beer, including India pale ales, pale ales, pilsners, lagers and much more. They will also provide cocktails and wine.
“We want to have something for for everyone,†Dahl said. “Not everyone likes every type of beer, so you got to have a variety.â€
Eden Town will also partner with Caroline’s in Denton to provide a full service food truck. Dahl loved the idea of partnering with a local business to provide food.
“We love it because that’s why we’re doing it,†Dahl said. “We’ haven’t even opened yet, and we have all already created a partnership with another business here in town that I think is going to help both of us.â€
In addition to an in-house brewery that guests will be able to see from the tap room, Eden Town Brewing will also have an event room.
“This is an area that people will be able to rent. If they have a private party, we have to close it off,†Dahl said. “If they’ve got a kind of larger party, we can open this door up, and they can have part of the yard.â€
Eden Town Brewing Company has land that can be utilized for bigger events and for making the brewery a family friendly place were people can bring their kids to play. Owners also plan to sell Eden Town Brewing Company merch.
