EASTON — Halloween is right around the corner, and communities around the Mid-Shore are getting ready to host events.
Here are some of the Halloween events going on around Mid-Shore.
Talbot County
The Talbot County Community Center will host its Halloween BOOnanza event from 6 to 8 p.m on Oct. 22. The event will feature ice skating, trick-or-treating, face painting, photo opportunities and more. It is for all ages, and no pre-registration is required. The event costs $10 per child at the door, with children aged 2 and under free.
The St. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Community Center is hosting a Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. with judging at 11 a.m. While sign ups are closed, residents are welcome to attend and sample some of the entries. The community center is also hosting a Pumpkin and Face Painting event on Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Caroline County
The Chesapeake Culinary Center will host the Spooktacular Fall Fest on Oct. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. The free event features music, bounce houses, tent or treat, a costume contest, vendors and community resources.
The Caroline County Council of the Arts will host a Halloween Sip-N-Paint: Spooky Night on Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Foundry in Denton. The event will cost $35, and all ages can attend.
Dorchester County
Downtown Cambridge will be hosting Trick or Treating in the Cambridge Main Street District on Oct. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m.
East New Market Events is hosting Trunk or Treat with the Sanderson sisters on Oct. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the fields by the Historic Train Âé¶¹´«Ã½ on 10 Murphys Alley.
Dorchester County Recreation & Parks is hosting a Spooktacular Trunk or Treat Bash on Oct. 27 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Dorchester Athletic Complex. The event will feature free candy and treats and a meet and greet with the local Sheriff’s Office, Cambridge Police Department and Emergency & Medical Services. The event is free for all ages.
