A single mother has been struggling to make ends meet for her two daughters, one of whom has cerebral palsy.
Taking her 4-year-old to doctor’s appointments across the Bay Bridge has meant missing a lot of work. The girl’s father died 10 months ago.
The mother did not know how she would provide a holiday celebration for her daughters.
“It has been all on me,†she said. “I just need a little help until I can get back on my feet.â€
She received assistance with their holiday celebration from the Brighter Christmas Fund.
