EASTON — Bone-chilling temperatures didn’t stop hundreds from lining up downtown for Easton’s annual holiday parade on Saturday.
A sold-out fleet of floats, vehicles, fire trucks and bands paraded up and down Harrison and Washington streets Saturday evening, giving town residents a night full of holiday cheer.
Open slots to participate in the parade were in such high demand that there was a waitlist, said event organizer Holly DeKarske.
“It’s my favorite community event,†said DeKarske, executive director of the Easton Economic Development Corporation. “It’s awesome.â€

She said Saturday’s holiday parade was great as always, and thanked all the participants for their dedication to their floats.
“It takes a lot of time and effort to get that stuff together,†DeKarske said.
